CASE STUDY

Bringing structure to complexity across 11 concurrent workstreams

In the context of a large Regional Parks transformation programme, I was engaged to oversee the simultaneous delivery of 11 distinct workstreams, each in varying stages of progress. With multiple teams involved and priorities evolving, the challenge was to introduce enough structure to keep everything aligned — without creating unnecessary process burden.

I designed and implemented a centralised multi-project dashboard that gave clear visibility of status, risks, and ownership across all streams. I clarified delivery responsibilities with each project owner, introduced fortnightly governance check-ins, and ensured teams had the tools, documentation, and coaching they needed to stay on track. This included streamlining reporting, creating shared delivery templates, and acting as a calm coordination point between delivery teams and senior leaders.

The result was strong alignment across workstreams, with delivery timelines met and fewer last-minute escalations. Senior leadership specifically highlighted the value of the visibility and control enabled by the tools I introduced — noting how it brought more confidence to decision-making and supported smoother cross-team collaboration.
